Google releases an extension to block sites from search results.

This is actually Google’s answer to content farm sites, but the reaches go far beyond just blocking results from sites that annoy you. In a fresh post to the Google Blog, the company has just stated that it has released an extension for Chrome that will allow you to block certain sites from showing in Google search results.
Of course, this goes far beyond just blocking an annoying site. Google will use the information from the sites you’ve blocked to help provide better search results overall. Once you’ve blocked a site, you’ll never see results from that site when you search in Chrome.
Want to get started? Download the extension and block away.
